March 21st was Down’s Syndrome Awareness Day.

To help raise awareness we asked our whole school community to wear odd socks and bring a donation to school.  Even the Bikeability Team from Sunderland LA, who were in school to work with Year 5, joined in the fun!  We managed to raise an astounding £400 which was presented to a representative from Down’s Syndrome North East.
We all had a wonderful day and would like to say a huge thank you to everyone for supporting such a wonderful cause!
